So I'm fascinated by painting in Photoshop, specifically those amazing pictures of nebulas and stars and planets.

Was just playing around, working off several tutorials and I managed to create a nebula I liked. Added a planet with the help of a random texture and a tutorial, then added some stars and tweaked the nebula.

For less than an hour of work using a mouse I'm pretty proud of this. I'm curious to see what I could do with more time and a drawing tablet.

For anyone viewing who DOES do this kind of stuff, criticism is strongly encouraged and welcome.

I like it. :) The coloration and lighting looks solid, thought it's a little difficult to pick out finer details due to it's smaller size. I like the planet texture as well, and you've taken a fairly minimalistic approach which works very well. All in all, :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
